Musculoskeletal rehabilitation is aimed at individuals suffering from soft tissue disorders, whether acute or chronic.
Among the most common conditions are tissue injuries, tendinopathies, low back pain, neck pain, and non-specific shoulder and knee pain.
The main goal of this approach is to restore function, improve joint and muscle mobility, and reduce pain during daily activities—ultimately improving the patient’s quality of life.
As a physiotherapist specialized in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (OMPT), I use advanced techniques and an evidence-based approach to treat the most frequent neuromusculoskeletal disorders. The focus is always on functional recovery and preventing recurrences, taking into account the patient as a whole and the context of their daily life.
The therapeutic process begins with a thorough assessment of joint mobility, muscle strength, motor control, and posture. This evaluation also includes specific screening to identify any red flags that may require referral to a medical specialist for further investigation or complementary treatment.
Based on the results, I design a personalized rehabilitation program that combines manual therapy, active therapeutic exercises, and practical advice for managing pain and functionality in daily life. The goal is to promote long-term recovery and enhance the patient’s quality of life, enabling them to return to their activities with confidence and independence.
